The Portland Oregon Visitors Association (POVA) is recognized as one of the largest, most successful CVBs' in the US, with annual budget of $7.7 mil.& staff of 49. Candidates must be experienced leaders w/records of success. This public position requires interaction w/diverse stakeholders.  Interpersonal and political skills are important. Experience in the industry is preferred, specifically from the CVB sector. Other industry sources include attractions, hospitality, and convention centers. We will consider non-industry candidates such as Portland region executives w/relevant business or public experience.
